SkyWaltz Balloon Safari is India’s first fully licensed and Government approved commercial Hot Air Balloon operation.

In January 2008, SkyWaltz received official authorisation from the Ministry of Civil Aviation to conduct Hot Air Balloon activities across India. For a period of over two years prior to this, Sky Waltz’s Directors, in consultation with international Ballooning consultants, worked tirelessly with the Ministry of Civil Aviation to establish internationally recognised regulations and guidelines for the establishment of commercial Hot Air Ballooning in India.

The Sky Waltz team consists of highly experienced, internationally licensed pilots from Europe, the USA, Australia, Canada, India and the UK, along with professionally trained operational and technical staff. Globally recognised standards of safety along with international operating procedures have been implemented from the outset.

PILOTS

Ismail

Ismail has played an integral part in the development of the Turkish aviation industry and in particular hot air ballooning for many years. He is a qualified pilot for hot air balloons, gliders and small fixed wing aircrafts and also loves skydiving. Ismail also has an instructor rating for hot air balloons along with over 3,500 flying hours in different balloons in many different countries.

Andrew

Andrew has been a professional Balloon Pilot since 1994 and is also a qualified instructor pilot. From England, Andrew has flown for a number of commercial Balloon operations around the world, and most recently with Bill Harrop’s Balloon Company in South Africa. Ballooning is a part of family life for Andrew, with both of his son’s having their Balloon Pilot’s license and his wife Louise always ready to jump onboard for a flight.

Nitesh

From Jaipur, Nitesh is one of a very few Internationally trained and licensed Indian Hot Air Balloon Pilots. Nitesh has been working in the Hot Air Ballooning industry since 2008 and has now become a fully qualified commercial Hot Air Balloon Pilot. He attained his Pilot license in the USA he now also holds his Indian Balloon Pilots license. Nitesh has been flying for the past 2 seasons and specializes in flights in our smaller Balloons as well as tethering activities & festivals.
